  1. I am a new website owner and would like to know if the word camp is for experienced word press users only or would a new user be able to benefit from attending. I am in Gainesville FL and would be interested in attending.
    Thank you ,
    Jane W Powers

    • David says:

Hello Jane, thank you for commenting.

This WordCamp will be split into two main tracks: half of the talks will be for WordPress novices, the other half will be for advanced users. There will be a bit of something for everyone, as well as networking opportunities. If you can make it out, it’ll absolutely be worth attending.

  2. That sounds great, I will hold off on plans for my trip north until I hear from you.
    Thanks, Jane

  3. Kirylyn Dreamer says:

thanks Jane for asking the question all us newbies are pondering 🙂 and hey, December gives us time to learn more about WordPress so we know what questions to ask!

  4. Look like a great event being planned…and only two hours from home:)

  5. Jane Powers says:

Thanks for the information, I will be there bright and early.

  6. phil says:

new need a lot of help on website and word press for affiliate marketing my no.609 350 0701 thinking of going to word camp is this were i can meet people doing this type of thing?

    • David says:

Absolutely, there will be a lot of developers and advanced WordPress users to talk to at WordCamp. Be sure to talk to as many people as you can. You never know who can help!

  7. Joe Bateman says:

Trying to register for tickets, seems to be in a loop.
How do I get registered for 1 ticket?

    • David says:

I would try a different browser first, to see if there is something blocking you from viewing the page. If you still have an issue let me know and I’ll try to find another way to figure it out.

  8. Hello, I am trying to also register, but the register button seems to be going to the blog page with no other options to register. Any suggestions how to proceed?

    Thanks,
    Susan

  9. Kenyon says:

I will not be able to attend until 11:30,do attendees need to sign in at exactly 8:30AM?

  10. Chuck Roberson says:

Is it possible to jump back and forth between the novice and no-so-novice (whole) classes throughout the day if we are more comfortable with the particular subject matter?

Thanks, and looking forward to it.

    Chuck

    • David says:

Absolutely Chuck, you don’t need to stick with one track if there is something that interests you in the other. The main point of division between the two is that the beginner track talks are geared more toward casual or new users, and the advanced track is geared more toward developers.
