Parental WordCamp wizards and witches can now usher in the next generation of magical WordPressers at our first annual KidsCamp! Parents attending WordCamp can bring their young apprentices along and enjoy a day of parent-child learning under the tutelage of some of our WordPress Professors!
These special kid-friendly lessons will introduce your apprentice to the magical world of WordPress and help them learn or improve upon WordPress development, design, and use skills! After the day is complete, your apprentice will leave with their very own WordPress.com site up and running!
Interested WordPress parents will need to have a ticket for Saturday attendance purchased before signing up their young apprentice. Parents will be responsible for staying with their child during KidsCamp, but may switch parents during the course of the day if you are both attending. Each child will need his or her own computer to work on.
Each KidsCamp ticket provides your little witch or wizard with lunch, an afternoon snack, and full access to the day’s lessons. We are accepting underage wizards from ages 7 to 14 to participate in these special lessons and spots are limited to only 20 students (not including their parental sponsors).
KidsCamp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – ready to start your young witch or wizard out on their own magical WordPress journey? Purchase your KidsCamp tickets before October 16th to ensure your child gets the proper sized robes*! Also, if your young witch or wizard is beyond their years in WordPress proficiency, they are welcome to join us for the full sessions and workshops with a regular ticket!
* Correct T-shirt sizes only guaranteed for tickets purchased before October 16th.
