KidsCamp will run on Saturday, November 12\u00a0from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. <\/span><\/h3>\n

WordCamp parents\u00a0can now usher in the next generation of WordPress\u00a0builders\u00a0at our first annual KidsCamp! Parents attending WordCamp can bring their junior builders\u00a0along and enjoy a day of parent-child learning under the tutelage of some of our WordPress Master Builders!<\/p>\n

These special kid-friendly lessons will introduce your child to the wonderful\u00a0world of WordPress and help them learn or improve upon WordPress development, design, and use skills! After the day is complete, your child\u00a0will leave with their very own WordPress.com site up and running!<\/p>\n

Interested WordPress parents or guardians will need to have a ticket for Saturday attendance purchased before signing up their junior builders. Parents will be responsible for staying with their child during KidsCamp, but may switch guardians\u00a0during the course of the day if you are both attending. Each child will need his or her own laptop\u00a0to work on.<\/p>\n

Each KidsCamp ticket provides your junior builder\u00a0with lunch, an afternoon snack, and full access to the day\u2019s lessons. We are accepting builders\u00a0from ages 7 to 14 to participate in these special lessons and spots are limited to only 20 students (not including their parental sponsors).<\/p>\n

Ready to start your junior builder\u00a0out on their own WordPress project? KidsCamp tickets will go on sale with the general admission tickets in early August.\u00a0Also, if you have an older builder ready to learn some advanced topics, they are welcome to join us for the full sessions and workshops with a regular ticket!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
