There comes a time in most teenagers\u2019 lives when they need to be sat down and have a wise non-parent wrap an arm around them and have a talk.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a time to talk about goals, sacrifices, worldviews, and what got them to where they are.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also a time to talk about troubles they are facing now and ones they\u2019ll face down the road.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a time to give them tools, resources, and a template to follow when the inevitable happens.<\/p>\n
This is that talk for our 15-year-old friend, WordPress. (It\u2019s a talk for you and for me.)<\/p>\n
Gleaning from a life well lived and using it as a template, we\u2019ll take a look at the challenges ahead of us as a WordPress community.<\/p>\n
From the bumps in the road surrounding Gutenberg to the need for more diversity and inclusion to the general growing pains of a community figuring out what we want to be when we grow up, we need someone to wrap an arm around us and tell us where to go.<\/p>\n
