WordCamp Orlando: Sold Out

Orlando WordCamp 2012 not only sold out, but ended up being oversubscribed with close to 300 attendees. The Twitter feeds during the Orlando WordCamp were electric for the December 1st event which was the largest gathering of web design enthusiasts in Florida for 2012.

The event was heavily supported not only by volunteers and WordPress experts from the local community, but a variety of sponsors who made the event possible.

The event’s key note was Mark Jaquith, one of the chief architects of the WordPress platform.

WordPress is now used for an estimated 24% of all new web sites built in the world today, but is often overlooked by the media as it is an open source platform and the scope is not readily understood.
