Blastoff!
We are excited to announce that WordCamp Orlando 2018 is primed and ready for launch! Returning to the Rosen School of Hospitality Management for yet another stellar camp, we’re looking forward to gathering with everyone for our 9th year on November 9-11, 2018!
There are a lot of new surprises in store under our new lead organizer, Sandy Edwards, and we are kicking things off by opening our speaker submissions earlier than usual. We’ve listened to past feedback and our goal is to let potential speakers know their status well in advance of the conference dates to allow for better travel planning.
Speaker Applications are now closed.
Note that all submissions will be considered equally regardless of the submission date, so take your time to consider your ideal topic(s). The deadline is July 13th so put your thinking cap on and develop a topic that you just know everyone wants to hear about!

I realize it’s still very early, but any idea how much this will cost? Ballpark figure, even? (Newbies like me would love some basic info like price and maybe a list of subjects? Not *this* year’s, but maybe, “Subjects from previous years speakers include…”) Thanks!
Hi Trisha, all WordCamps follow guidelines on pricing to ensure we keep the event affordable. At most tickets will be $20/day, so either $40 for the weekend, or $60 if you choose to get a ticket for Friday workshops too.
If we get enough sponsors we can bring the price for tickets even lower! If you know any companies who would like to sponsor and reach over 400 attendees, let us know!
